Jackson Hole Mountain Festival 2010

The Mountain Festival is a free celebration marking the conclusion of another winter chapter, and the coming of spring to the Tetons. Click here for Lodging Packages.

The 5th Annual Mountain Festival weekend will kick-off with Grace Potter and the Nocturnals in a free concert on the 27th, followed by the Marmot Coombs Classic and party on Sunday the 28th.

The music starts at 2:30pm on Saturday with Rotating Superstructure in the Spring Concert Series underneath the tram dock next to Nick Wilsons. The big show starts at 5PM with the sounds of Jet Black Ninja Funk Grass Unit opening for Grace Potter and the Nocturnals. Don't miss the fireworks lighting up the sky directly following the show marking another great year in Jackson Hole!

Marmot Coombs Classic - More Info -
Sunday, March 28 9:30am – 1:30pm

1st Annual end-of-the season event honors legendary Jackson Hole skier and Marmot Athlete, Doug Coombs (1957 -2006). Sign up for the event and you’ll receive a commemorative patch and for each lap you complete, you’ll earn one raffle ticket -- more laps get you more raffle tickets! After the event there will be a party outside of Nick Wilson’s Cowboy Café featuring live music from the Chan Man Roots Band. There will be some sweet raffle prizes from Marmot and K2!

34th World Championship Snowmobile Hill Climb at Snow King Resort - More Info -
You do not want to miss this high speed, hard crashing, slightly insane event at Snow King Resort in the heart of Jackson, Wyoming. Watch snowmobiles try and climb one of the steepest trails in the nation on their quest to become the king of the hill!

36th Annual Pole, Peddle, Paddle - More Info
On March 27th, the POLE, PEDAL, PADDLE is a four-event relay race with contestants competing individually or in teams. The events include an alpine ski leg, a cross-country ski leg, a bicycle leg and a boating leg. The race will be followed by an awards ceremony and springtime party. The POLE, PEDAL, PADDLE is a fund raising event of the Jackson Hole Ski Club, a non-profit organization dedicated to establishing a ski education foundation for Alpine and Nordic Junior racers.
