For advanced through expert adult skiers - levels 8-9
To be the best you have to ski the best.  And you have to do it with complete confidence. You have to admit that there would be nothing better than skiing the most extreme terrain on the mountain with free flowing style and grace. That is where Jackson Hole Steep & Deep Ski camps will help. Join a handful of other enthusiastic, energetic skiers on the "early" gondola up the mountain each morning to get first tracks on some of the most extreme terrain in the United States. You will be skiing with and learning from some of the most extreme skiers in the world!

Throughout the course of the camp, you will learn skills and get tips that will help you explore the great variety of terrain and snow conditions for which Jackson Hole is famous. Matt Belford, a camp instructor and the 2003 Coach of the Year, says, "The comprehensive four days of coaching on the steep and deep terrain of Jackson Hole Mountain Resort allows for an extremely beneficial and enjoyable experience."  Offering the highest level of instruction, our coaches will provide tips on finding the best line, how to read a slope, steep skiing etiquette, and terrain selection. Campers will ski on mostly black and double black terrain tailored to individual abilities and the instructor's knowledge of where the best terrain and conditions are. You can count on skiing the Hobacks, the Expert Chutes, and everyone's favorite, Corbet's Couloir, on the final day. On any one the last three days, groups will head out of bounds (should conditions permit). You will learn all about backcountry skiing and make some of the best turns of the week.

The teamwork and group cohesiveness makes the camp comfortable and enjoyable for everyone. "By the end of the camp, the groups are enthusiastic and supportive teammates," says instructor A.J. Sanders.

When the mountain closes for the day, the excitement doesn't stop. The camps include aprés ski events, tech talks, and an awards dinner with prize giveaways including skis.
