The storm that kicked off 2020 is finally coming to a short lull. Last night we received 8 inches of snow and severe winds that buffed Rendezvous Mountain giving us one last reset before locals and visitors can rest their legs. To the surprise of everyone, the sun popped out this morning giving the first glimpse of a newly blanketed mountain. The last 15 days have produced some of the best skiing EVER at Jackson Hole and those who were lucky enough to indulge know that storms like this don’t come around every season. Enjoying conditions like this wouldn’t be possible without a huge team of employees here at JHMR. A big shoutout to all the on-mountain operation staff and ski patrol for working extra hard to keep the mountain open and safe in relentless conditions.
So what’s next? Looking ahead after a couple of days of sunshine, Jackson is the target of another quick burst. Early predictions show 9″ falling in the mountains on Friday day. Just enough time for the muscles to relax.
