Meet Your Maker Table

Cirque Trail

While all the spots on this list can be accessed via a hike, this is the only one on a black diamond hiking trail. Located along the Cirque Trail near the "Meet Your Maker" ski chute, the journey to and from this picnic table is one you won't forget.

This picnic spot is most quickly accessed via a Bridger Gondola ride followed by a relatively quick hike along the Cirque Trail. While quicker to turn back the same way and ride the gondola down, the prominent view of Corbet's Couloir will be enough to entice hikers to complete the rest of the hike to the summit via either the remainder of the Cirque Trail or the new North Ridge Trail.

Those who prefer a down-hike can start this journey from the top of the Aerial Tram. Regardless of the path taken, the view of the valley below and the Tram flying across the skyline is hard to beat.

It's also a great spot to watch your kids on the Aerial Ropes Course if you want to give them slightly more space than the tables directly next to the ropes course.

Best on a Windy Day:

Casper Deck

The glass walls on this deck make for the perfect wind barrier if you find yourself picnicking on a windy day. This is also a great alternative if the picnic table by the swing is taken or you're with a bigger group; simply continue up the Wildflower Trail to the Casper Deck, located next to the top of the Sweetwater Gondola. Watch mountain bikers start their ride into Dirty Harry and Deepest Darkest from a mid-mountain deck with beautiful views of the mountain and the valley below.

It's a great halfway stop on your trek to the top of the Bridger Gondola and a great way to burn off your meal. For those short on time or not feeling a hike, its location at the top of the Sweetwater Gondola makes for a quick and convenient way to pack in both sightseeing and your meal.
