Day 1 Recap

Adrenaline pumped through the veins of 164 fearless racers today as they charged through Day 1 of the Dick’s Ditch Banked Slalom! With icy morning conditions that softened under the 40s sunshine, every turn, jump and banked carve was a battle against the clock—and the competition.

From below Nez Perce through the top of the legendary upper Dick’s Ditch, riders ripped through the mix of man-made and natural terrain, navigating the flowy, technical course with one goal: make the cut for Sunday’s finals. The energy was electric, fueled by roaring spectators and the pursuit of bragging rights and serious cash for the Pro divisions.

With live timing updates, racers and fans watched in real-time to see who was edging closer to the cutoff and who had locked in a top spot. Only the fastest 70% in each division will return for Sunday’s showdown, where it all comes down to a full-send run.
