Updated 6/28/21- Day 2 of the Teton Mountain Runs Trail Races kicked off with perfect weather and a buzz from the previous day of competition. On deck for Sunday was the Wild 15K Race and the daunting Cody Peak 50K Race. Runners of the 50K race met early in Teton Village while temperatures were still cool for the 6:00am start. With over 8,500 vertical feet of elevation gain on one of the hardest running routes to ever be created on Rendezvous Mountain, these runners were both excited and anxious for the race ahead of them. Check out the course map and description to really get the scope of what running 50K on Rendezvous Mountain is like.

It only took a couple of hours for the 50K runners to clear the lower mountain trails and the race staff to reset the starting area in preparation for the 15K race to start. At 8:00am the gun went off to begin the last race of the weekend. While this race was the shortest of the three this weekend it still boasted over 1,200 vertical feet of running on a course that took competitors from the Southern boundary to the Northern boundary of the resort. Full race results from day two are below. A big congratulations to all of the weekend runners for taking on Rendezvous Mountian in the first-ever Teton Mountain Runs Trail Races.

Day 2 RACE RESULTS

Posted 2/26/21- Day 1 of the first-ever Teton Mountain Runs Trail Race just came to a close as the last competitors crossed the finish line in Teton Village after 30K of grueling trail running. Today’s race took runners from the base of the village at 6’300 feet to the summit of Rendezvous Mountain at 10,450 feet and back down again (see map below for the Cirque 30k course details). A true coast-to-coast and sea to summit course that hosted breathless views of the valley and surrounding mountains tested every competitor as they zig-zagged up switchbacks and ski runs to complete the stout 30K distance. A big congratulations to all runners today, Rendezvous Mountain is big and it takes serious grit to take it on by foot. Check out the full race results from day 1 below.
