Jackson Hole Mountain Resort – a part of so many of us – whether you are an employee, local passholder, first time visitor, summer hiking enthusiast, downhill mountain biker, ecstatic bungee trampoliner, climber, or disc golfer. The resort brings joy to everyone despite age or outdoor skill set. All it takes is an adventurous spirit, and the thrills begin.
Even for the bi-annual family visitors, JHMR’s activities grow with all of us. My 9-year-old nephew, Ethan, is a great example. There are few mountains (actually there’s none) where he lives in Ohio, but that doesn’t stop him from enjoying every high elevation thrill available when he visits. Check out his journey of Teton Village experiences throughout his 9 years.
I hope you enjoy the brief photo recap of Ethan’s history here at JHMR.
Next time he comes – I expect he’ll try out the full downhill mountain biking experience.
The following time – the high alpine climbing on the Via Ferrata. Before you know it, he’ll be paragliding down the mountain! These adventures don’t even touch the winter season.
The bottom line is – there’s something to do for every age here at JHMR, whether 2, 12, 20, or 82. Welcome to the Jackson Hole club Ethan! I think JMHR will always hold a special spot for you. Maybe I’ll even see you out here bumping chairs in 10 years ;).
If you are a first time visitor/adventure-seeker, be sure to check out our Family Guide and First Timer’s Guide to see all that Jackson Hole has to offer.
One thing’s for sure, I’ll continue to share the Western way of life in Teton Village with my fellow mid-western nephew for as long as I live here.
