2024 Trail Starts Here Challenge Recap
The 2024 Trail Starts Here Challenge has wrapped up, and what a season it’s been! We invited all of you to lace up your hiking boots and embark on a journey across our beautiful trails. Whether you were a seasoned pro or a curious beginner, this challenge was designed to celebrate the great outdoors and push your limits while exploring the stunning terrain of Jackson Hole.
From July 1 through September 1, participants tracked their hikes on the JH Insider App, racking up miles on our JHMR trails and earning bragging rights along the way. With diverse trails ranging from scenic strolls to challenging ascents, there was something for every adventurer.
We’re thrilled to announce the season-long winners of the Trail Starts Here Challenge!
Our two winners both ran an immense amount of miles throughout the season, each earning themselves a $500 Mountain Money Card to JH Sports! Congratulations to Justin N. running 570 miles and to Amy R. running 290 miles throughout the course of the season.

A Record-Breaking Rendezvous Hillclimb 2024 Recap
Rendezvous Hillclimb 2024 is in the books! Congratulations to everyone who gave it their all in this annual event put on in the memory of Chris "Captain X" Onufer. It was a hot one out there, but racers prevailed through the conditions to claim glory atop Rendezvous Mountain. A massive round of applause is in order for two record-breaking runners: newly-minted Jackson Hole athlete Anna Gibson and for a second consecutive year, Tyler McCandless.
