As summer returns to the valley, the iconic tram swings back into action. With its return, a myriad of adventures awaits guests, promising unforgettable experiences amidst the majestic beauty of Teton Village.
The Aerial Tram is running daily 9am-5pm starting May 18, while the rest of our summer operations open June 15. Current snowlines are currently around 8,000', depending on aspect.

Teton Village Sports has E-bike rentals to let you explore the local area too.
Trailblazing Excursions
Whether you're a seasoned hiker or a novice explorer, there's a trail suited to your pace and preference, promising breathtaking vistas and moments of serenity. As of 5.18.24, Saratoga Loop , Lower Faces Loop, and Hoback Trail out and backing are all open, but please bare in mind:
- Hiking is challenging, with upper mountain trails still snow-covered, creating route-finding and sliding hazards on steep slopes.
- Avoid mountain roads as they are used by heavy equipment and construction is underway.

Skiing Adventures
Thrill-seekers need not bid farewell to the ski season just yet. For those with backcountry experience knowledge and a partner -experience the exhilaration of skiing outside the gate with a decent snow base. Read more about a back country ski adventure here. Late season conditions exist please use caution, and keep in mind:
- Rescue resources are limited, and response times are extended as it is the off-season.
- BTNF has stopped daily avalanche forecasts, but hazards like cornice failures and wet slab avalanches remain due to rapid melting, spring storms, and wind events.
