JH Mountain Direct FAQ
What brands do you carry?
JH Mountain Direct carries a demo fleet consisting of the latest Atomic, Black Crow, Blizzard, K2, Nordica, Rossignol, Salomon, and Volkl skis. We can also pull skis from any of our affiliated rental shops, which gives us access to 11 ski and snowboard brands.
Is there an extra charge for delivery?
No! Delivery is free, but there is no discount for ordering online.
Where can we get our skis delivered?
We deliver to all areas of the Jackson Hole valley, including within the Jackson city limits, South to Hoback Junction, North up to Golf and Tennis (including the homes north of there around the airport), Wilson, West Bank and Teton Village.
What date should I set as my arrival date when booking my rentals?
Your arrival date should be set as your first date of skiing. We are still able to deliver your skis the afternoon before your first day of skiing.
Can we request specific skis?
Yes! If there is a specific ski or snowboard that you would like to try out just let us know when we call to confirm your delivery time. We can't guarantee that a specific ski will not be rented out during your delivery time, but we rarely run into this and can always help to recommend something similar.
What should we expect now that we've made our order?
After placing your order, we will call the phone number you've provided a few days prior to your arrival to set up a specific delivery time and listen to any special requests you may have.
Can we have our skis delivered the day before we start skiing?
Yes! We can deliver starting as early as the afternoon before your first day of skiing with no additional charge for renting that day.
Can we exchange/return our gear in the JHMR rental shops?
Yes! Because we are affiliated with Jackson Hole Mountain Resort, you can exchange demo skis or upgrade your packages at any of our rental locations. When you're done skiing, you can also return your gear right at the base of the lifts at Jackson Hole Sports if that is easier than hauling the rental gear back to your hotel. Just remember to have a pair of shoes with you if you are returning rental boots!
How early do we need to make an order to have our skis delivered?
To assure that we can schedule a fitting that works best for our guests' time frame, we ask that you place an order at least 48 hours prior to your fitting. Although, outside of holiday times, we can often set up a delivery with as little as 24 hours notice. *Fittings are scheduled in the order in which they were made.
What if the days we'd like to make an order are blacked out?
If the day you would like to place an order is blacked out it is likely because there is less than 48 hours notice. If this is the case, place a rental order for one of our rental locations, and give us a call at (307)732-4050 to see if we can arrange a delivery. We will always do our best to arrange a fitting into our schedule, even during busy periods.
