1. The Flats

1a. Enter your skis

Enter your bindings toes first, then press down on your heel.

1b. Enter your Snowboard

Place foot into binding. Tighten the bigger ankle strap first and then the toe strap.

2. Find Your Athletic Stance

Knees bent, arms forward, and eyes up.

3. Hop, Slide Around, and Get Comfortatble on Your Gear

Slide back and forth, left and right. Explore moving while in your equipment. Make small hops and try to land softly.

2. The Mini Pipe

1. Drop In and Glide Up

Get small as you drop in and rise up tall as you glide up the other side.

2. Try Again

Climb back up and try again.

3. Drop in on an Angle

Drop in on an angle while turning yourself to the left. Try again to the right.

3. The Rollers

1. Drop In and Pump

Get small as you drop in and rise up tall as you crest each roller to pump for speed.

2. Link Rollers

Try to link one roller to the next until you can clear them all with control and confidence.

3. Drop in on an Angle

Drop in on an angle; try changing directions while on top of each roller.

4. The Banked Turns

1. Let the Terrain Guide You

Follow the outside edge of the bank; stay centered on your gear as you let the terrain guide you.

2. Steer Yourself

Start at the bottom of the bank; try to steer your gear and link one bank to the next without relying on terrain to steer you.

5. The Perfect Slope

1. Use Turns To Control Your Speed

Make your way back and forth down the slope while using turns to control your speed.

2. Vary Your Turns

Try to vary the size and amount of turns you make.

3. Stop

Turn to a stop.
