February is a Snow Globe
Something extraordinary is happening in the Tetons. A week ago, we saw two feet of snow in a single day (that’s 1" per hour for 24 hours!), kicking off an unstoppable storm cycle. Over six feet of snow fell in just one week (Feb. 14–20), and the snow keeps stacking up. February has already delivered a jaw-dropping 132 inches (11 feet)! The season total? A massive 350 inches and counting. This isn’t just winter—it’s full-throttle, deep-in-the-dream, snorkel-required POWDER SEASON. If you’ve been waiting for the perfect time to drop in, this is it. Mother Nature just rolled out the white carpet—are you ready?

The past week was season-changing here in Jackson Hole. Over 6 feet fell on the upper mountain sending powder skier's minds into the stratosphere and adding nearly 3 feet of base depth by week's end. Over 10 feet has fallen so far and with a little luck we'll be padding that phenomenal February total with quite a bit more of the white fluff. Stay tuned. -Dr.H (read on for the Doctor's February report).
